Description
Design:
- Body: The main housing of the strainer, typically made of cast iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel.
 - Strainer Element: This is the filtration element, which can be a perforated plate, wire mesh, or a basket-type screen.
 - Baffle Plate: A plate that directs the flow of fluid through the strainer element.
 - Cleaning Mechanism: Some strainers have a cleaning mechanism, such as a backwash system or a self-cleaning device.
